The Municipality of Ierokipia is conducting a tender for the provision of administrative support for the successful implementation and completion of all the Municipality’s co-financed projects as Beneficiary of the projects that may be co-financed for the 2021-2027 Programming Period under the ICD (Integrated Territorial Development) Strategy of the Paphos District, and specifically under the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALEIA 2021-2027”

RECRUITMENT OF ONE (1) REFUSE COLLECTION WORKER
The Municipality of Geroskipou is accepting applications for the recruitment of one (1) Refuse Collection Worker on scale E6-E7.
Applications must be submitted on a special form, which interested parties may obtain from the Municipality’s Registry during working days and hours, or from the Municipality’s official website https://ierokipia.org.cy/


The following documents must be submitted together with the application:
1. A copy of the school leaving certificate.
2. A copy of the birth certificate or identity card.
3. A copy of a clean criminal record certificate.
4. A copy of the military discharge certificate.
5. A copy of a health certificate from a public or private hospital.


Applications must be submitted to the Municipality’s Registry, signed by the applicants, by Friday 24/01/2025 at 14:00, in sealed envelopes bearing the phrase “Application for the recruitment of a refuse collection worker”.

Recruitment of Fixed-Term Employees to Meet the Needs of the District Self-Government Organisation


The Paphos District Self-Government Organisation announces that, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Regulation of the Employment of Indefinite-Term Employees and Fixed-Term Employees in the Public Service of 2016 (Law 70(I)/2016) and subject to the approval of the posts by the Ministry of the Interior, applications are being accepted for the employment, under section 4(2)(a) of the said Law, of fixed-term employees (F.T.E.) in the posts listed below for a period of up to eighteen (18) months.

The Municipality of Eastern Paphos is accepting applications for the filling of one (1) Cleaner position.
The approved salary scale for the position is E2.
The duties of the position are cleaning duties across all of the Municipality’s departments and in all municipal districts.


SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Interested persons may obtain the application form from the Municipality’s Offices – Secretariat Department, on the ground floor of the Municipal Hall, Geroskipou Square, 8210 Geroskipou, P.O. Box 63015, during working days and hours, or from the Municipality’s website www.geroskipou.org.cy.

Recruitment of 14 Seasonal Hourly-Paid Workers to Meet the Needs of the District Local Government Organisation for the Implementation of the Local Government Reform.

The Municipality of Paphos announces that, in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers at its meeting of 13.3.2024, applications are being accepted for the employment of 14 (fourteen) seasonal hourly-paid workers in the positions listed below, for the purpose of implementing the Local Government Reform. The persons selected will be employed initially at the Paphos Sewerage Board and at a later stage at the District Local Government Organisation (D.L.G.O.) of Paphos, which will commence operations on 1.7.2024.

The Municipality of Geroskipou is accepting applications to fill one (1) position of General Duties Worker.

The salary scale for the position is E5.

The duties of the position are those of a General Duties Worker across all departments of the Municipality.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the Records Office of the Municipality of Geroskipou during working days and hours, or from the Municipality’s website www.geroskipou.org.cy.

Applications must be submitted fully completed and signed to the Records Office of the Municipality of Geroskipou by Thursday 4 January at 2:00 p.m., in a sealed envelope marked with the phrase “Application for the recruitment of a general duties worker”.

  5. A Health Certificate from a Medical Officer certifying that the candidate is able to carry out manual work and work involving the use of machinery without any problem.

REQUIREMENTS/CRITERIA FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION:

Applicants must:

  • Be citizens of the Republic of Cyprus or of another Member State of the European Union.
  • Have fulfilled their military obligations or have been lawfully exempted from them. In the case of lawful exemption from military obligations, they must present the necessary supporting documents indicating that the grounds for the lawful exemption do not render them incapable of performing the duties of the position.
  • Not have been convicted by a Criminal Court of an offence involving dishonesty or moral turpitude, and not have been dismissed or had their services terminated from the Public Service or from any organisation of the broader Public Sector.
  • Provide a work certificate from previous employers if they have been employed in the past.
