The Municipality of Geroskipou is conducting a tender under a summary procedure for the selection of a contractor for the grant of a licence to use and operate the Canteen at the “Michalis Kyprianou” Municipal Stadium in Geroskipou for a period of one year, with the option to renew for a further one (1) year.

Tenders must fully comply with the terms set out in the tender documents.

Agreement for the Provision of Internal Audit Services to the Municipality of Geroskipou

An agreement for the provision of internal audit services to the Municipality of Geroskipou was signed today, 6 May 2026, between the Municipality of Geroskipou, represented by Mayor Nikos Palios, and the company AMBRUS International Consulting P.C., with the aim of strengthening oversight, improving procedures and monitoring the Municipality’s activities.

With this agreement, the Municipality of Geroskipou is implementing the provisions of Article 109 of the Municipalities Law, concerning the obligation to establish an Internal Audit Unit.

TENDER NO. 32/2026 “FOR THE CLEANING OF MUNICIPAL BEACHES WITH A STONE-COLLECTING MACHINE”

  1. The Municipality of Geroskipou invites tenders for the hire of a stone-collecting machine together with its operator for 160 hours ( ± 30%) for the cleaning of the municipal beaches of the Geroskipou Municipal District and/or the Timi Municipal District from scattered pebbles ranging from 1cm to 20cm in diameter.
  2. The budgeted cost of the Contract amounts to eighteen thousand euros (18,000 euros) excluding VAT.
  3. The machine may be either self-propelled or transportable and must be of high horsepower (140 HP to 200 HP).
  4. The duration of the performance of the Subject Matter of the Contract is set at a period of 90 days from the date of signing of the contract and is to be carried out in three and/or four phases.
  5. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Mayor of Geroskipou and placed in the Municipality’s Tender Box (entrance of the Municipal Hall, Geroskipou Square, 8210 Pafos) no later than Thursday 30 April 2026 at 12.00. The envelope must bear the phrase “TENDER 32/2025 FOR THE CLEANING OF THE MUNICIPAL BEACH WITH A STONE-COLLECTING MACHINE”.

INVITATION TO EXPRESS INTEREST NO. 29/2026 FOR THE PROVISION OF LEGAL ADVISOR SERVICES

The Municipality of Geroskipou invites expressions of interest for the provision of Legal Advisor services for one year, with the right of the contracting authority to renew the contract for an additional period of two years (1+1), provided that both contracting parties agree.
The required qualifications, terms and conditions, as well as other relevant information, are set out in a special form of the Municipality, which interested parties may obtain from the Municipality’s website INVITATION TO EXPRESS INTEREST NO. 29/2026 and/or from the Municipality’s Archive (Municipal Hall) during working days and hours.

REQUEST FOR TENDERS NO. 26/2026 Clearing of plots, embankments and other parcels of land

  1. The Municipality of Geroskipou invites tenders for the clearing of plots and embankments, fields or other parcels of land using an agricultural tractor fitted with a special machine for shredding grass and small-scale prunings.

 

  1. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked on the outside “TENDER NO. 26/2026 FOR THE CLEARING OF PLOTS” and placed in the Municipality’s tender box no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday, 23 March 2026.

 

  1. In addition to specifying a price for each plot, tenderers must clear one plot to the satisfaction of the competent Officers of the Municipality of Geroskipou, demonstrating the efficiency and effectiveness of their machine.

 

  1. The price specified in the tender must also cover the clearing of the embankments surrounding the plots as well as the shredding of any small quantity of prunings that may be found within the plots.

 

  1. Tenders must be submitted on the tender submission form provided by the Municipality and accompanied by all the necessary documents.

APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES (RETAIL OR WHOLESALE) FOR THE YEAR 2026 (The Sale of Alcoholic Beverages Law, Cap. 144, Section 3)

The Municipality of Geroskipou announces:

  1. All holders of business premises (natural or legal persons) permitted to sell alcoholic beverages within the municipal boundaries of the Municipality of Geroskipou must submit an application to the competent Authority, namely the Municipality of Geroskipou, in order to obtain a licence to sell alcoholic beverages

(The Sale of Alcoholic Beverages Law, Cap. 144, Section 3).

  1. The relevant application form is available at the Customer Service Office of the Municipality of Geroskipou and is also posted on the Municipality’s website https://ierokipia.org.cy/
  2. For the application to be accepted, it must be accompanied by all the required Documents/Certificates:
  • Original Criminal Record Certificate for the applicant (in the case of a legal person, a Certificate must be provided for the person legally responsible and for the seller(s)).
  • Original accommodation classification certificate (in the case of a hotel or other accommodation).
  • Copy of the Registration Certificate and Certificate of appointment of the person legally responsible (in the case of a legal person).
  • Copy of the Building Permit.
  • Copy of the Health Certificate from the Health Service of the Ministry of Health.
  1. Applications must be completed properly and must set out accurately all the information requested, supported by the necessary certificates or other documents.
  2. Should an application not be submitted, or should it be rejected, the Municipality of Geroskipou will take all appropriate legal measures.

The Municipality of Geroskipou invites tenders for the provision of services for the creation and management of the online social media of the Municipality of Geroskipou.

The subject of the Contract is the creation and management of the Municipality’s accounts on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Viber), the creation and posting of relevant content (texts, photographs and videos), as well as actions to promote the posts.

The duration of the contract will be one (1) year, with the right of renewal for a further one (1) year.

The total budget of the contract amounts to €6,000 plus VAT.
