Recruitment of Fixed-Term Employees to Meet the Needs of the District Self-Government Organisation


The Paphos District Self-Government Organisation announces that, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Regulation of the Employment of Indefinite-Term Employees and Fixed-Term Employees in the Public Service of 2016 (Law 70(I)/2016) and subject to the approval of the posts by the Ministry of the Interior, applications are being accepted for the employment, under section 4(2)(a) of the said Law, of fixed-term employees (F.T.E.) in the posts listed below for a period of up to eighteen (18) months.
The posts for which the 26 F.T.E.s to be selected through this invitation / notice are intended are the following:

Licensing Officer (scale A9 – A11 – A12) 1

Administration Officer (scale A8 – A10 – A11) 2
(4)
Accounts Officer (scale A8 – A10 – A11) 1
(5)
Information Technology Officer (scale A8 – A10 – A11) 1
(6)
Technical Engineer (scale A5(2) – A7 – A8(i)) 10
(7)
Assistant Secretarial Officer (scale A2 – A5 – A7(ii)) 10

The relevant Schemes of Service for the posts, as well as the selection criteria, are posted on the website of the Paphos District Self-Government Organisation www.eoap.org.cy. Alternatively, they may be obtained from the offices of the Paphos District Self-Government Organisation at 11 Charalambou Mouskou Street, 8010 Paphos.
Interested candidates must submit an application on the special form which is posted on the website of the Paphos District Self-Government Organisation www.eoap.org.cy or obtained from its offices at 11 Charalambou Mouskou Street, 8010 Paphos.
Applications, completed by hand by the applicants, may be submitted to the offices of the Paphos District Self-Government Organisation, 11 Charalambou Mouskou Street, 8010 Paphos, or sent by email to info@eoap.org.cy no later than Wednesday 6/11/2024 at 12:00 noon. Applications submitted after the specified deadline will not be taken into consideration.
