The Municipality of Ierokipia’s first budget: in surplus and with a developmental focus

The first budget of the Municipality of Ierokipia was approved unanimously by the plenary of the Municipal Council.

The Regular Budget is in surplus, as provided for by the relevant legislation, and has the capacity to self-finance part of the development programme, as well as to cover the significant staffing of the Municipality with administrative and manual workers during 2025.

Beyond meeting all the requirements for its approval by the competent ministries, it is a dynamic budget, as it reveals the prospects for continuous improvement in the rate of revenue growth.

The Development Budget was prepared on a rational and realistic basis, in terms of strategic planning, and highlights the Municipality’s priorities for each municipal district. Through the budget, Geroskipou, Konia, Timi, Agia Marinouda and Acheleia each have their own share in development, their own plan for the future.
