The second lecture of the 18^th Year of the “Ierokipeion Free University in Paphos” will take place on Friday, 26 November 2021 at 7.00 p.m., at the Events Hall of the Geroskipou Multipurpose Centre.

The theme of the lecture has a commemorative character, as it concerns the Revolution of 1821 and, more specifically, the role and participation of Cyprus in it. The speaker will be the former Ambassador of Cyprus to Greece, Mr Giorgos Georgis, Professor of History and Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities at Neapolis University Paphos.

The lectures of the “Ierokipeion Free University” are open to the public and are broadcast live on Radio Paphos 93.7 and recorded by the University of Cyprus radio station UCYvoice 95.2. At the end of the presentations, both the public present and the listeners of Radio Paphos may take an active part in the discussion that follows.
