ESTABLISHMENT OF A CITIZEN SERVICE DEPARTMENT & RAPID RESPONSE TEAM
BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF EASTERN PAPHOS
In response to contemporary needs and demands, and with the aim of serving residents better and faster, as well as encouraging citizens to take an active part in resolving problems, the Municipality of Eastern Paphos has established a Citizen Service Department, which operates within the Municipal Hall.
All complaints, problems or requests submitted by residents are recorded and, once coded, are forwarded to the relevant departments for review and resolution.
As part of these responsibilities, the Department:
- gives residents the opportunity to come forward and voice their complaint or request and to assert their right to be served,
- guides residents on matters that concern them and provides information on procedures and legislation,
- reviews any suggestions, complaints and requests as quickly as possible and promptly informs the resident concerned or advises them on any action they need to take,
- through specialised software, monitors the progress of each complaint, from its initial submission through to the final outcome,
- is responsible for monitoring and implementing the decisions taken and prepares and submits a monthly report on the matter to the Mayor and the Municipal Council.
Department Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
