The Municipal Assembly of the Geroskipou District was held last Friday, 15/11.
The residents who attended were briefed on the first months of operation of the new Municipality,
as well as on its development initiatives for the largest municipal district.
The next assembly will take place on Wednesday, 20/11 in Konia.
ASSEMBLY ORGANISED IN EACH MUNICIPAL DISTRICT
BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF IEROKIPIA
By decision of the Municipal Council, the Municipality of Ierokipia is planning to hold an assembly in each of its municipal districts during November.
The introduction of the Municipal Assemblies is a new form of resident participation in municipal affairs, launched by the Municipality of Ierokipia in order to give a platform for expression to every citizen, to each and every person who wishes to contribute to the common effort.
The schedule of the Assemblies, by municipal district, is as follows:
– Achelia: Tuesday 12/11, 6.00 p.m., Municipal District Offices
– Geroskipou: Friday 15/11, 6.00 p.m., Events Hall of the Geroskipou Multipurpose Centre
– Konia: Wednesday 20/11, 6.00 p.m., Municipal District Offices
– Timi: Friday 22/11, 6.00 p.m., Municipal District Offices
– Agia Marinouda: Wednesday 27/11, 6.00 p.m., Municipal District Offices
