PMD and paper are collected door to door from the pavement outside your home every week, once you have placed them in the special transparent and brown bags respectively, which you can obtain from supermarkets.

You may place the bags on your pavement every Monday evening before 8:00 p.m.

Paper (dry cardboard, newspapers and magazines, advertising material and office paper) may also be tied into a bundle or placed in cardboard boxes.

If you live in an apartment block and a blue bin bearing the Green Dot Cyprus logo has been placed there, then you may deposit only PMD-category materials (plastic bottles, containers and bags, metal packaging and TETRAPAK-type packaging).

Glass (glass bottles, food jars) is NOT collected door to door, so you should take it to the green bell-shaped bins, which are placed at well-known points in our Municipality that are easily accessible to everyone.
