He was born on 4 January 1959 in Geroskipou, where he still resides today. At the age of 25 he was elected for the first time to the Geroskipou Improvement Board (1988); in 1994 he was re-elected as a Municipal Councillor of the Municipality of Geroskipou; in 1996 he was re-elected for the third time as a Municipal Councillor and immediately afterwards as Deputy Mayor.

He is a graduate of the INSTITUTE of Applied Management, specialising in Marketing.

He lives in Geroskipou and for the past 35 years has run a car sales and rental business here.

He is considered one of the most successful entrepreneurs in his field of activity in Paphos and beyond.

He served as Chairman of the Sports Committee of the Municipality of Geroskipou,

Vice-Chairman of the Geroskipou Cultural Movement, Vice-Chairman of A.E.G. Geroskipou,

Deputy Chairman of Atromitos Geroskipou and Vice-Chairman of SKE Geroskipou.

He also served as Vice-Chairman of A.E.P. Paphos.

He is married to Christina Siikki and together they have 4 children: Angelos, Vladimiros, Themoula and Giorgos.
