Ierokipia Municipality’s 2026 Budget with a Development Focus

The budget of the Ierokipia Municipality for the year 2026 was approved unanimously by the plenary of the Municipal Council.

The Ordinary Budget is in surplus, as provided for by the relevant legislation, and is able to self-finance part of the development programme, to support the Municipality’s policies across its various areas of action (social, cultural, sporting, tourism, environmental, etc.), and also to cover the significant staffing of the Municipality in terms of personnel.

It is a dynamic budget, as it reveals the prospects for continuous improvement in the rate of revenue growth, while also keeping municipal taxes, fees and charges at low levels.

The Development Budget was prepared on a rational and realistic basis, in terms of strategic planning, and highlights the Municipality’s priorities by municipal district.
