The lectures of the 20^th cycle of the Ierokipeion Open University lecture programme have been completed for this academic year.

At the 6^th and final lecture, held on 31 May 2024, the speaker was Dr Artemis Georgiou, Assistant Research Professor, Archaeological Research Unit, University of Cyprus, who presented the topic “Geroskipou before Ierokipia: examining the archaeology of the area in the 2nd millennium BC”, generating particular interest among those present, who, under the moderation of Dr Anna Satraki, Archaeological Officer at the Department of Antiquities, asked questions relating to the lecture.

The event was addressed by the Acting Mayor of Geroskipou, Kyriakos Hadjivasilis, who, together with Mrs Dora Nikolaidou, a founding member of the Radio Paphos Pancyprian radio station, presented the certificates of participation.
