The final lecture of the 18^th Year of the “Ierokipeion Free University in Paphos” will take place on Friday, 27 May 2022 at 7.00 p.m., in the Events Hall of the Geroskipou Multipurpose Centre.

The speaker of the lecture, “Accidents in childhood”, will be Paediatric Surgeon Evangelia Gougoudi of the Medical School of the University of Cyprus.

As part of the closing ceremony, certificates will be awarded to friends of the “Ierokipeion Free University” who regularly attended the lectures of the 18^th Cycle.

In addition, the co-organisers will posthumously honour the late Mayor of Geroskipou Michalis Pavlidis for his contribution to the “Ierokipeion Free University in Paphos” as a member of the Organising Committee of the institution (2012 – 2021).

The lectures of the “Ierokipeion Free University” are open to the public and are broadcast live by Radio Paphos 93.7 and recorded by the University of Cyprus radio station UCYvoice 95.2. At the end of the presentations, the audience, as well as the listeners of Radio Paphos, can take an active part in the discussion that follows.
