TENDER 20/2020 “FOR THE SUPPLY OF STAFF UNIFORMS FOR THE PERIOD 2020-2021”
The Municipality of Geroskipou invites tenders for the supply of summer and winter uniforms to meet the needs of its members of staff for the period 2020-2021.
Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Mayor of Geroskipou, and placed in the Municipality’s Tender Box by Friday 18/09/2020 at 13.00. The envelope must bear the wording “TENDER FOR WORK UNIFORMS”.
The tender documents are posted on the website of the Municipality of Geroskipou, www.geroskipou.org.cy.

ANNOUNCEMENT
For the period from 10/8/2020 to 24/8/2020, the Technical Department will receive the public by appointment only. In light of the latest developments concerning the pandemic, we kindly ask that visits to our offices be made only for absolutely essential matters and always in accordance with the Quarantine Decrees. 
During this period, the Technical Department will process the examination of applications (e.g. for the issuance of building permits, issuance of approval certificates, etc.) that have been submitted to date. Any new cases and applications will be accepted after 24/8/2020 .
Award of Scholarships by the Municipality of Geroskipou, in collaboration with Alexander College and CDA College
The Municipality of Geroskipou informs the public that, in collaboration with ALEXANDER College and CDA College, it is accepting applications for the award of scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year.
Scholarships are awarded only for the first year of study. Interested parties may contact the above academic institutions directly for further information regarding the fields of study offered and other matters.
Those interested in applying for the scholarships offered should submit their interest in writing to the Records Office of the Municipality of Geroskipou by Monday, 27 July 2020 at 1.00 p.m.
ANNOUNCEMENT: RECRUITMENT OF A CLEANER
The Municipality of Geroskipou is accepting applications for the recruitment of one (1) Cleaner on the E2 scale.
Applications must be submitted on a special form, which interested parties may collect from the Municipality’s Registry during working hours and days, and must be submitted by Friday 07 August 2020 at 1:30 p.m., presenting without fail a Health Certificate from a Public or Private Hospital, a copy of an identity card, a copy of an education leaving certificate, and a clean criminal record certificate.
The working hours are on a six-day basis, Monday to Saturday, 38 hours per week.
Those who have previously submitted an application for employment at the Municipality of Geroskipou are requested to come to the Municipality’s offices again to complete the new form, as all previous applications will NOT be taken into account.

The Municipality of Geroskipou is accepting applications for the recruitment of one (1) Refuse Collection Worker on the E6 scale.
Applications must be submitted on a special form, which interested parties may obtain from the Municipal Archive (during working hours and days) and must be returned by Friday 07 August 2020 at 1:30 p.m..
The following documents must be submitted together with the application: a Health Certificate from a public or private hospital, a copy of the identity card, a copy of the school leaving certificate, and a Clean Criminal Record Certificate.
Those who have submitted an application for employment with the Municipality of Geroskipou in the past are requested to visit the Municipality’s offices again in order to complete the new form, as all previous applications will NOT be taken into account.

The Municipality of Geroskipou and the Paphos Police Directorate, at a modest ceremony held today, 3 July 2020, at the Municipal Hall, honoured the “Neighbourhood Watch” members for their participation in efforts to implement the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
