Art Exhibition – Visual Art Exhibition

«A Sense of Cyprus»

Art Exhibition at the Geroskipou Municipal Art Gallery, APOTHIKI

The Municipality of Geroskipou presents the art exhibition «A Sense of Cyprus» by local artists at the Geroskipou Municipal Art Gallery, «APOTHIKI», 5 Kerkyras Street, on 5 October 2019 at 20:00.

Six artists, six different forms of expression, bring together their creations, drawn from their personal experiences and their connection with the nature of our island. Ina Kritioti and Fotoulla Kyprianou capture magical landscapes and moments of the island through their lens, while Christine Steinberg-Mund, Kiara Tsokkou Timm and Alison Leggat take us on a journey through their own brushstrokes, and Urania Panagi Varnava expresses the beauty of Cypriot nature through her clay.

Inspired by the light of the Mediterranean, the colours and scents of Cypriot nature and its landscapes, each artist creates in her own way and with her own unique expression, producing distinctive works of art.

From canvas to clay, from paint to photography, each work holds its own treasure and story, drawn and inspired individually from the beauties of the island and the artist’s experiences. Each artist offers her own ‘personal touch’ with a different expression, technique and material, contributing to and presenting the final, diverse result of this visual art exhibition.

Opening on 5 October 2019 at 8 pm.

The exhibition will run until 15 October 2019.

Monday – Friday: 3pm-7pm

Saturday-Sunday: 10 am- 1 pm / 3pm-7pm
