Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in the Municipality of Geroskipou

The Municipality of Geroskipou is moving dynamically towards the green transition! Through the “Electromobility with the 1000” grant scheme of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, and co-financed by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility, the construction of three electric vehicle charging stations has been approved, with a grant of €2,000 per station. Each station will feature two charging points with a power output of 22kW.

The stations will be installed in the following areas:
▪️ 2 stations in public parking areas in the Geroskipou municipal district (one at the central square and one at the Municipal Beach).
▪️ 1 station in the public parking area of the square in the Konia municipal district.

On 4 June 2025, the Municipality signed an agreement with the Electricity Authority of Cyprus for the implementation, management and maintenance of the project, which is expected to be completed around the end of October 2025.

With this initiative, we are strengthening our environmental strategy and responding to the growing need for electric charging in public spaces.
