Filling of a Vacant Permanent Position of Assistant Clerical Officer

  1. The Municipality of Geroskipou is accepting applications for the filling of the vacant permanent position of Assistant Clerical Officer.
  2. A written and an oral examination will be held to fill the position.
  3. The approved salary scale for the position is A2-A5-A7(II). Any general increases approved by legislation are added to the salary. In addition, a cost-of-living allowance is paid in accordance with the rate approved by the Government from time to time.
  4. Under the terms of approval of the Municipality of Geroskipou’s Budget by the Ministers of the Interior and of Finance, the entry scales for new recruits will be reduced by 10% of the initial gross salary of the position. Upon completion of 24 months of service, employees will be placed on the first step of the salary scale of the position, as defined in the relevant Scheme of Service.
  5. The duties and responsibilities, as well as the required qualifications for the position, are set out in the Scheme of Service of the position, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic under no. 4399 and dated 01/09/2023 (Eighth Appendix – Schemes of Service).
  6.   7. Applications must be delivered to the Municipality’s Central Registry or sent by registered post to the address: Municipality of Geroskipou, P.O. Box 63015-8210 Geroskipou, in sealed envelopes marked with the phrase «Application for the filling of the vacant permanent position of Assistant Clerical Officer», no later than Monday 02/10/2023 at 14:00.
  8. Upon submission of the application, applicants must pay an examination fee of €30.00 including VAT. Please note that the examination fee is non-refundable. Proof of payment must be attached to the application submitted. Applications not accompanied by proof of payment will not be accepted.
