Written Statement by the Mayor of Geroskipou, Nikos Palios
“We are especially pleased that an effort spanning many months has reached its conclusion. The ultimate goal of the Municipality of Geroskipou is the optimal use and regeneration of 24,000 square metres, as this also includes the redesign of the existing car park.
The Municipality’s aim is to transform the space into a metropolitan park. To make it the largest green and recreational space in Geroskipou, enhancing the daily life and quality of life of residents.
Through the delivery of the project, prospects will also be created for connecting the central square of Geroskipou with the old silk mill, through the Michalis Pavlides Park, creating a unified, extended and continuous public space”.
