The Municipality of Geroskipou is accepting expressions of interest for the procurement of Secretarial Support services for the MPT – under a contract for services, in order to staff the Geroskipou Municipal Prevention Team (M.P.T.) for carrying out the prevention programmes it has undertaken on behalf of the Cyprus National Addictions Authority.

The professional will work flexible weekly hours totalling 20 working hours, depending on the needs that arise.

Contract Budget – Monthly Fee: For the Services it provides under the Agreement to be signed, the Municipality will pay the Contractor a fixed monthly fee of €500, including VAT.

Duration of Performance

The duration for performing the subject matter of the Contract is set at a period of 12 months from the date the Contract is signed.

Job Description:

• Completing applications
• Communicating and publicising the activities of the Geroskipou MPT to schools, organisations, etc.
• Handling correspondence
• Promoting the team’s activities online and in the local press
• Coordinating activities on site
• Assisting with the implementation of prevention programmes

The required qualifications of the professional for this Contract are:

1. Holder of a Lyceum or Technical School Leaving Certificate with an overall grade of 16+.
2. Proven relevant experience of two (2) years.
3. Holder of a recent Clean Criminal Record Certificate.
