With our best wishes for a wonderful and creative new year, we invite you to the year’s first event for children: a unique reading of the fairy tale “The Fairy of Silence” by author Andri Ioannou (illustration: Panagiota Michail, Evgnomon Publications).

”Petrideios” Municipal Library of GeroskipouIn a beautiful fairy village, the day a fairy comes of age is the most important of her life. It is the moment she receives her gift from the wise fairy. One mischievous, tiny fairy, however, does not appear at her coming-of-age party. She sneaks into the magical workshop and, in a playful moment, opens one of the little bottles of fairy dust. Then something unexpected happens. She is overwhelmed by a gift that does not suit her, and as a result she loses her voice. The wise fairy calls on the other fairies for help. Their mission is to travel to the world of humans, where the fairy of silence must face some difficult situations with her fairy dust.
Will she manage to win back her voice?
