Subject: Participation of the Municipality of Geroskipou in the “Earth Hour” Campaign

On Saturday 30 March 2019, at 8.30 p.m., hundreds of millions of people,
in more than 150 countries around the world, will unite to celebrate
the planet by switching off their lights for one hour, “Earth Hour”.
The Municipality of Geroskipou, in support of the global effort to protect
our planet, is taking part once again this year in this campaign,
by switching off the lights of the Municipal Hall and Geroskipou Square from
20:30 to 21:30.
The Municipality of Geroskipou calls on all residents, as well as all our fellow
citizens, to support this effort by switching off the lights of their
homes and business premises for one hour, on Saturday 30 March, between 20:30 –
21:30.
