The main responsibilities of the Service include
- Monitoring and regulating traffic within the Municipality
- Supervising parking areas and enforcing relevant regulations
- Issuing fixed penalty notices for traffic and other violations falling within the Municipality’s responsibilities
- Conducting patrols and addressing issues related to road safety
- Cooperating with the Police and other competent authorities on traffic-related matters
- Monitoring the proper operation of parking systems and facilitating the movement of pedestrians and drivers
