The lectures of the 20^th cycle of the Ierokipeion Free University lecture series have been completed for this academic year.

At the 6^th and final lecture, held on 31 May 2024, the speaker was Dr. Artemis Georgiou, Assistant Professor of Research at the Archaeological Research Unit of the University of Cyprus, who presented the topic “Geroskipou before Ierokipia: examining the archaeology of the region in the 2nd millennium BC”, arousing particular interest among those present, who, under the coordination of Dr. Anna Satraki, Archaeological Officer at the Department of Antiquities, submitted questions relating to the lecture.

An address at the event was delivered by the Acting Mayor of Geroskipou Kyriakos Hadjivasilis, who also presented the certificates of participation together with Mrs. Dora Nikolaidou, a founding member of the Radio Paphos Pancyprian radio station.
