The Municipality of Ierokipia provides, as part of its social policy, grants and financial support to residents.
Student Grants 2025-2026
As part of its social contribution and with the main aim of providing tangible support to students, the Municipality of Ierokipia announces a number of student grants for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Main criteria for selecting grant recipients:
- Resident of Ierokipia (Geroskipou, Konia, Timi, Agia Marinouda and Acheleia)
- Exemplary conduct
- Clean criminal record
- Secondary school leaving certificate grade of 17.5/20 or above
- Fulfilment of military obligations prior to the submission of the application, or exemption or deferment
- Certificate confirming the year of study at the University of Cyprus, at higher education institutions in Greece or another country
- Maximum family gross income limit of €42,000 (father – mother)
- In the case of a large family (4 dependent children or more), the income limit is increased by €1,000 for each child
- Attendance must be regular, continuous and not by distance learning
