On 1 June we celebrate a day with a twofold significance, World Children’s Day and Global Day of Parents. This day was established by the World Conference for the Welfare of the Child in Geneva in 1925 as World Children’s Day, and it was proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2012 as the Global Day of Parents, as a mark of appreciation for the commitment that parents show towards their children.
So come and let us all feel like.. carefree children!
