A few words about the performance:

The performance is an inventive Cypriot adaptation of Molière’s classic comedy «The Miser», full of humour, twists and genuine theatrical enjoyment. The play’s emblematic hero, the miserly Harpagon, is transformed into… Harpakol – an authoritarian father, in love and unbearably attached to money.

When Harpakol decides to marry young Marianna, a series of comical situations erupts, since her heart already belongs to his son. At the same time, his daughter is having a secret relationship with his servant. The tangle falls to the cunning Frosyni to unravel, and she takes action in her own way – and, of course, not without something in return!
